It is quite common, these days more than ever, to have people come in and out of our lives. And yet we must take solace in the fact that the age of technology has ushered in numerous ways that we can stay in touch with people within our same state or across the globe. If there is someone that you do not want to lose touch with, make the effort. Don’t wait or put off an email, phone call, or visit. Staying in touch is a two-way street. Letting someone know you still think of them is one of the greatest gifts that you can give to a person that has left.

Recently I heard a great joke that made me laugh. Unfortunately, I don’t remember all the details well enough to tell it now. However, it wasn’t the joke that stood out (obviously!), but it was the way it made me feel. I laughed until I cried. If doctors could prescribe ‘funny doses’ that would be a very effective remedy to cure the blah moments in life. What makes you laugh? When was the last time you were really silly? I bought my mom a present but it took me quite a while to think up of the perfect greeting card message to compliment the gift.
